Female Cicrumcision

Female genital mutilation is the whole or partial removal of the clitoris and the tightening of the female sexual organ. It is made up of four main types. Some consider it as an Islamic ritual. However, it is not. First because of the name of one of its type "pharnoic circumcision" i.e. belongs to the pharaohs or pharnoic ages, which is way beyond the Islamic religion. Second, it was documented in a Greek documentation dating back in 168 B.C. third; the word "mutilation" comes from the Arabic word "muthla" which is against the Islamic religion as stated in the Qur'an. Moreover, if it is part of the Islamic religion than why high authorities from the Islamic religion are trying their best to ban this kind of practice. Last but not least, it is practiced in some Christian countries like Ghana in Africa.
